Think of a pioneer, an unreasonable leader in the context of business, and you are likely to think of people like Steve Jobs, Richard Branson and James Dyson.

So, if you want to be a pioneer how do you go about being an unreasonable leader
Well, the pioneer is willing to challenge the traditional way of doing things. To do this, the pioneer has to be unreasonable with the world and his or her business.
To be successful, the pioneer will often need to operate outside the mainstream. This can make them appear like a maverick.
George Bernard Shaw had a great perspective on success. He said:

“There are only two kinds of people in the world.
There are reasonable ones and unreasonable ones.”

The reasonable person doesn’t rock the boat, doesn’t want to cause any trouble and wants no controversy.
But there is the unreasonable one who won’t take it, who refuses to quit.
Are you a reasonable or unreasonable leader?
Shaw believed that all human progress depends on the unreasonable people.
If you want to become a pioneer, become unreasonable with all that you do.
Follow the road that is least travelled!
That is the mark of a great Leader!
